Better results on Generic finasteride than Propecia

I've noticed i get more growth when im taking generic finasteride than compared to MSD Propecia.... I thought they would be the exact same drug - but why am i getting different results with each?
Also - I noticed when i was forced to come off MSD Propecia onto Generic finasteride - I had shedding for about 1 week.
I purchased my generic from generic-rx.org (drug comes from india)

Most likely this is due to how long you have been on the drug rather than the name brand

they are supposed to be the exact same drug in theory. It is such a subjective idea of saying which is better for you since the effectiveness of finasteride is only determined over 1-2 year periods where there are many, many variables involved that can determine success. I would not worry about it at this point.
