Better for Hairline spot treatment? Liquid or Foam?

I am experiencing general thinning all over my scalp, but am most concerned with the hair loss on the front, mostly on the right side above my temple. I have been on Propecia 0.5 mg per day for about 6 months, with not a whole lot of improvement (maybe a little??), but want to try something to get back what I've lost up front.

Which is better for that? Foam or Liquid?

I voted but I will leave a comment as well. I used liquid for 4 years, switched to foam for 2 months, got a huge shed. I got scared and went back to liquid. I am not saying foam does not work (alot of people here got good results) I just could not deal with the shedding.
