Best treatment for receding hairline with least amount of side effects

27 year old male, I only recently (last year) noticed my hair was receding (I really wasn't paying attention before then), I m at about a NW2 I think and most of the hair that has receded is still in front of my hairline in the form of miniaturized hair.

1. what is the best treatment for frontal recession without risking side effects?

2. what are the odds of the miniaturized hairs (mostly in the corners) coming back as full length hair?

A hair line rarely grows back once it's gone. If it does with medication only, then you're one of the lucky few.

The only way to get a hair line back is through a hair transplant.

There are no specific "hair line treatments", only hair loss treatment.

No matter what type of hair loss you have, you only have two safe and proven options: minoxidil and finasteride.

You mean even if the miniaturized hair is still there you can't make it grow into full length stands anymore . If the miniaturized hair were to grow longer I d have the same hairline as when I was 20.

it blocks dht from binding to the follicles and doesn't stop dht from being produced like finestride does, thus no side effects.

All medicine can have side effects, but finasteride is proven to be extremely safe. Do not fall for the scare mongering, so many have. If you get sides, which is unlikely, you can always stop, and in 99.9 percent of people it will reverse.

RU is a hassle and should be a last resort. Furthermore you need to buy it from an unknown chemist in China and mix it yourself..
Read some actual scientific literature about finasteride, buy finasteride, and regrow that hairline!!

were you able to get back your old hairline, or does it only improve it slightly?
I don't know about finasteride, even if the odds of getting side effects are pretty low I don't want to risk, with all the stuff I have to deal with I don't want another problem.

I was in your boat. So afraid.. When you get more desperate, you will consider finasteride. Man, it is really really safe. Read different clinical trials and see how few get sides. The reason there such a hype is because psychosomatic effects can ruin your sexlife.. The reason they discovered finasteride, was because a tribe of men, who did not get bald, were absent the enzymes that finasteride inhibits.

Yes, whole hairline regrowth still a few rows of miniaturized hairs, that were not even visible when I started.

yes no fap does help. no fap decreases dht.

The regrowth is great to hear, though I guess I won't know how well I get results until I try it.

for a couple of months I was going to just ignore it cause I was under the assumption that I wasn't going to get male pattern baldness as all the men in my mother's side of the family kept their hair, my father's side did have gradual balding but my hair resembled men in my maternal line along with the premature greying they all had.

also my older brother had signs of male pattern baldness at a much younger age than me, so I just assumed the gene had skipped over me.

Do not believe in that bull****. There are no properly documented success stories about people who regrew hair by not masturbating.

Try RU and minoxidil if you don't want to use an oral DHT inhibitor, otherwise try finasteride.

The earlier you get on treatments, the greater the chance to thicken dying hairs. If I were you, I would go straight to the pharmacy or order minoxidil liquid and foam online. I would do it right now, and get an appointment with a dermatologist, to get 5mg finasteride pills.

Don't think you can do better than that. I've seen people completely restore their hairlines just with meds. Check out nickypoo and zeroheat on this site.
