Hey guys,
My hairloss has been affecting me real bad lately due to my receding hairline. I am currently on 0.5 propecia daily, 5% minoxidil twice a day, and nizoral 2% everyother day. Everything was going good but a few days ago i noticed my hairline has receded further than it was before. I put minoxidil mainly on my hairline and it has worked on getting a lot of peach fuzz hairs but i am wondering is there anything out there that helps these hairs grow thicker, or anything better out there for the hairline. What has worked for you, I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks STW

Well how long have you been on the minoxidil? I've just started it a while ago (3 months) but i can see a big difference, just takes time. If you are interested in up-ing your meds to the next level, there is always xandrox and dutasteride.

But i say just give it time, add in some multi-vitamins as they can't hurt your regime.

I been on minoxdil 5% for about 8 months now. my hairline was lower when i started but there is a lot of peach fuzz hairs growing in the place of the old hairs from what it seems. but the problem is that these hairs are not getting any thicker. i have considered xandrox but i don't have any idea where to purchase it from. honestly losing your hair is one of the worst things, like you waste soo much of your time on this nonsense, buying sh*t that you would've never heard of if you hadn't been losing your hair. sorry if i am soo bitter, but this is the last thing i expected, my dad is in his 50s with a way better head of hair than me and i am 20. life isn't fair sometimes.

In my case, minoxidil didn't work. Finasteride maintained my hair, my crown is perfect but my hairline is still slightly receded (I'm a NW2).

Finasteride usually eats a bit of your hairline becasue of the adustment period in hormones, it'll recede it a bit more rapidly for a period of time before it'll hold and slow up the progression once your system has adapted.
