Best time to take finasteride?

Was wondering if some of you could advise on the best time of the day to take finasteride? I've heard it's best to take it at the end of the day. If so, why is this the best time? I used to take it when I got up in the mornings.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Actually I don't think there's much difference, but I prefer to take it at night. I never looked at any studies about that, but I usually take at the same time and in the night.

There is no difference. You should just pick a time each day that you will remember to take it.

Thanks for the input. I'm feeling a bit anxious about going back on Propecia because of the sides I experienced the last time. I took it for five years but abused the dosage (I generally took 2 a day, one in the morning, one in the evening, so I only have myself to blame) and was in denial until I woke up to the fact that I had gyno and had to have the old lipo. I've been off it for 3 years now but I'm worried about losing more native hair at the back and sides (the rest of my hair is transplanted hair). The way I look at it is I have no choice but to try again, this time taking half a Propecia pill a day. I'm hoping my body can cope with that and that it will still go some way to protecting my susceptible hair.
