Alpha Lipoic Acid: take as much as you can afford.

Coenzyme Q10: take as much as you can afford.

Vitamin E: (get the mixed vitamin E. GNC's Vitamin E Complete is a good version). 400-800 I.U.'s a day.

Selenium: 200 mcg's a day

Ester C: 500-1000 mg's a day

Green Tea: drink the tea and take the pills.

Lycopene: eat tomatos with some kind of fat.

Zinc with a 1 to 10 copper ratio. Use Source Naturals Opti Zinc.

Take these with fat, otherwise they cannot be absorbed.

While there is still no magic pill to guarantee heart health, there are already a few options that hold promise. Co-Q 10 is a potent antioxidant that has been linked to normal cardiac function and many cardiologists recommend supplemental Co-Q 10 for anyone taking statin drugs (which can effectively lower cholesterol, but reduce the production of Co-Q 10).

Where is Bruce Lee? Since he hasn't chimed in, I will in his place. He would say something to the effect of many of these anti-oxidants you mention have detrimental effects on the testosterone/estrogen balance in the body. Specifically speaking, they tilt the balance in the direction of estrogen.

I ingest SOME anti-oxidants, have a nice green tea habit... BUT, don't OD on them.
