I couldn't tell from that picture, but I've seen others where he clearly has some hair loss. I would guess yes he's had transplants.

hes definitely had problems. i read once vince vaughn accidentally ripped off his wig at a party one time and affleck begged everyone to keep it a secret.

He's never shown In any hair loss at the front anyway.
