I went to Dr.Strick one of like 5 hair specialist in North America hes at UCLA..and he said i have Telogen Effluvium ..DO you think he could be wrong, why am i doubting him of all people ?

Secondly i have a another appointment with a diffrent Doctor to get a second opinion , its tomorow and i was gonna shave my head to night, would that change or hurt the Diagnosis, should i not shave it before i see him? thanks guys

Yikes truking10. You no doubt have shaved your head by the time you read this. But, seriously, I don't think that it will matter that much as a specialist will look at the root cause. I dunno, maybe shaving it will help him to see more of the "root" cause in this? Keep us in the loop about what your second Doctor says.
