Beer And finasteride

I love beer and drink it quite often. Does anyone know if there are any concerns with using finasteride and drinking as far as your liver, etc go????? I happened to ask my doctor and he said no worries. However, my family doctor is not real familar with finasteride, but finasteride is extensively metabolized in the liver.

As a medstud I can tell you that moderation is the key. As far as drinking and finasteride - it´s ok, I mean it´s not going to make that much of a difference. However moderation is the key and two beers a day won´t make any difference - only make you a bit heavier.

You can drink beer and take finasteride as long as you don't drink it around the same time when your taking finasteride(Proscar/Propecia).
