Been on proscar (1/4ths) for about 3 months.

I'm not sure if it's even working? And I've been reading around about how cutting up pills is not the same thing as taking 1mg propecia. Some thread saying that after switching from propecia to proscar 1.25mg (4ths) they noticed a lot of shedding and lost their ground. If this is true I'm considering jumping out of proscar and into propecia what are your experiences or does anyone know anything about this?

I experienced slight sides (watery semen/soft boner) for about a week tops. Then it went away, but I did notice I'm getting zits on my scalp now? The ****?

I've been on propecia for 10 months and had amazing results - but it's so damn expensive £55 here in the uk for 28 tablets that's around $80. I just can't afford it any longer so switch to generics about a week ago - I'm taking 1.25 the cut into 4 thing and half a tab of propecia . When the propecia runs out I'll take 2.5 mg of generic half a pill works out at 10 bucks a month with that . I have seen a few threads of people coming off propecia onto generics and losing ground . I'm not sure why that is , finasteride is finasteride as they say . I started a shed about 2 weeks ago this has haulted now . I'd say if you can afford propecia it's definite better than generics
