I've always had, since I was a kid, a rather far back hairline, especially at the corners. What I am more concerned about is what is going on where hair is actually growing, and if it thinning. What do you all think? I am obviously extremely worried that my barber would mention this, because my uncles on my mothers side have almost all lost their hair. I'm only 20!

Hard to tell, could just be your mature hairline etc... You never really know until its too late LOL. Keep a close eye on it. The only proven thing out there currently to actually stop or slow the progression of male pattern baldness is finasteride...

Yes, you're receding, it's not a mature hairline, sorry =\

You should read about hair loss first (DHT, which is the main cause in male pattern baldness ; different phases of hair growth ; difference between a healthy hair and a vellus hair, etc...) then decide if you want to take a treatment and which one(s) you want to take.

Stick to proven treatments : finasteride, dutasteride, ketoconazole shampoo, minoxidil, spironolactone, tricomin.

See a (good) dermatologist for more informations, good luck !

Hairline is changing but thats probably mature hairline since your density elsewhere is good. But yeah should keep a close eye on it.

I say it looks like a strong NW2, but that's just me looking at a series of photos. The true test you would need to know for sure is the miniaturization test they can perform at a dermatologist or hair transplant specialist office. Some offer free consultations and might do the test for free hoping you'll spend a lot more on a hair transplant in the future.

If you believe your hair is thinning, do not assume it is due to stress. see your family doctor, who will be able to rule out the common causes
