A mild receding hairline. You have plenty of hair on the side. You should go get it checked out if you're worried. Some times hair falls out because of stress and diet. Its not entirely genetic.

Yes its entirely genetic. There are old men like ronald reagan that never lost any hair at 40+ years old. if it were true diet and stress could cause hair loss then he would have lost hair because I dont know any human on the planet earth that doesnt ever have any stress.

Don't go on finasteride unless you're ready for the side effects and long term effects. Do your research, DHT is crucial for your immune system including your neuroprotective system..you've been warned.

Honestly why are you going around using scare tactics on people who will potentially pick up a prescription that doesn't give side effects for a lot of the people who take it. Not just that there aren't long term effects the side effects are temporary and will go away within a reasonable time frame after discontinuation. Are you like from Procepiahelpforum?

Does finasteride play a role in your neuroprotective system? I dont know but finasteride does inhibit the 5 ar type 3 enzyme which might play a role there and they never intended or even knew they were inhibiting that it was just supposed to be the 5 ar 2 inhibitor.

Heey guys giving you another update how my hairline is doing I'm still skeptical about getting on any of meds, I personally think my hairline is good not the greatest but overall well. I have thick wavy hair, I notice after using my psoriasis medication my hair stop shedding on my pillow. Tell me how my hairline has progressed since my first post in July.

How bad is my recession? I'm 22 and was wondering if my hairline is shaping into a mature hairline because as you can see I have pretty dense thick hair.
Has my hairline gotten worse since July when I started this post?

Did you ever discover if you were receding? I assume after two and a half years since your last post you would experience further recession if it's baldness. My hairline is kind of like yours and it's been unchanged for years.

I know, was hoping he might get an email notification and come back to give an update. Seeing these pictures at the time, i think i would have been like 50/50 on him being in the stages of balding, so i was just curious to see how he ended up. Not sure how i even found this thread
