Hello. Iv become so worried over the past couple of months about my hair. Is this me balding or is it a cowlick? I really want to know what the next steps I should take are.

Did you go private to see a dermatologist? From my perspective you are starting to thin. Your crown looks like mine. See a dermatologist to get confirmation bro.
What did they say for you to do then? I asked if I could be referred and they said that they don’t think that I need to. So really I would need to go private to see oneWhat do you mean do I go private? I’ve been to three derms. Here’s my crown looks like yours a little.
I’m not noticing a considerable amount of shedding. For example, in the shower I maybe see an odd few. And if I run my hand through my hair, I may get the odd one sometimes, but I did have my hair permed and that seemed to make the strands weaker. The attached is a photo in natural lighting next to a windowThey put me on minoxidil at first then after 4 months on that with hair declining they put me on finasteride. Are you losing a lot of hair? Take a picture in the sunlight and that will be a good indicator.
Maybe you’re not thinning.
I’m wondering whether the dandruff and scaly scalp from dermatitis, although only mild, may have caused me to loose some hairThey put me on minoxidil at first then after 4 months on that with hair declining they put me on finasteride. Thanks for your input. Is this then a good or bad thing? In the images your natural cowlick is more in the top of the scalp, normally is more behind, more in the vertex area
In your opinion, do you see anything I should be worried about at this stage?Nor bad nor good, only uncommon, but acording to my theory cowlick and front line are the areas more prone to suffer common hair loss because the hairs are less in contact among them.
