So i am still failing to understand as to why all my cousins have their hair. Their dad’s are as bald as my dad (Norwood 6 at 70) yet my siblings and me are suffering from male pattern baldness while literally all my cousins are rocking a full head of hair at 40 and over. How is that fair and how on earth does that make sense.

My oldest brother is 40, Norwood 4
Other brother is 36 , Norwood 1 hairline but diffused to the point of nw4
I am 25 and currently Norwood 2 ( feeling pretty doomed)

ALL cousins , mum and dads side rocking Norwood 1-2 max till death. Wtf?

From what ive seen it doesnt matter if ur dad is bald as much as how early he balded. If ur dad starting balding at 20 and theirs started at 50, even though you guys will both probably bald eventually their hairloss genes isnt as strong. Or it could just be some random luck but I doubt it. If ur NW2 at 25 chances are ur kids prob gonna be balding in their 20s as well almost always.

But thats the thing, their dads lost their hair at the same time as my dad did, maybe earlier. My dad was Norwood 2 from 25-30 , then it got pretty agrssive (from what i can tell in pictures) . He then went from Norwood 2 to Norwood 4 by 35, idk when he turned into a nw6 though.

My uncle on the other hand (dads brother) , who has a son who is now 40 with a full head of hair , was a Norwood 4 by the time he was 30.
