There was a guy on this site a few years ago and he was a Norwood 6 or 7 with little wispy hair up top. He got on the big three and got some growth maybe to a Norwood 4. He might still be somewhere in the My Story section, but I doubt his pics are still up. I don't remember his user name but the results were impressive nonetheless.

Actually I found it. His username was ShineyDome.

He has his pic link on that thread. You can see his Novermber pics, Feburary pics, and May pics. So compare the Nov to May. Its pretty interesting.

6 month results, amazing, right?

NW7 to NW1 is impossible.
With transplants NW6 to NW2 is possible but thats the absolute limit and depends on your characteristics.

once an area is completly bald, i mean, without any hair not even those small hairs that wont grow any more, there is no possibility of getting it back. The biggest sucesses ive seen are usually diffuse thinners with very little hair that were capable of bringing them back stronger and growing.

Dammit, the Shineydome's pics aren't working for me any more. I just saw them 5 minutes ago and now they won't open up. Are you guys able to see his pics?

My dad has been a norwood 7 probably since he turned 30 and he still has those tiny vellus hairs all over his head. You can only see them if you look carefully but they are still there. The other odd thing I noticed is that he has the occasional normaly growing hair right in the middle of his head lol.

Has anyone actually seen someone with a completely slick bald head that has no vellus hairs whatsoever? I mean my dad is a pretty classic norwood 7 but with lots of vellus still and he is now 51.

a completely slick male pattern baldness is pretty rare. usually they stop at 7 at worst. The hair on the sides and back have like a different makeup or something that is very resistant to male pattern baldness...

i myself was on my way to a nw7.....i caught it at 5.
