Bald spot popped up after starting Finasteride

I've been on Finasteride since June and had a big shed at the end of the summer, of which, little regrowth has occurred so far, but I have small new hairs on my hairline that weren't there before. Prior to starting, I kept a buzz cut and did not have this bald spot in the back of my head. I don't know when exactly I got it as I just noticed today, but it was inbetween when I started using finasteride and now. I'm hoping this is just from shedding, as I just turned 19 and the area is actually a lot larger then it looks in the picture, and it's thinner around the spot.

What do you guys think?
Do you think the hair will grow back?
I've also recently noticed that I'm going through a second shed now for some reason, just noticed a few days ago, seems light so far but I don't know if this is connected.
