I'm 23 and male pattern baldness does run on my fathers side. I've noticed when pulling my hair back that there is what appears as a bald/thin spot almost right in the corner of my hairline/top of temple. It is not thinning corners, more like a patch which cuts in to the hairline. When I look closely I'm sure there is very few hairs in it. Just not sure what to do, I have a bald patch in the temple as well which is raised and hairless which I presume was from a car accident years ago, however I've had this since age 13/14. It is getting me down now so have come to seek some advise. I'm not sure if its worsened but I can't remember noticing it years ago? Currently my hair has recessed since my teenage years, however at the moments I'd say an early mature hairline?
So my question is are bald patches/circles at the temple/corners a sign of male pattern baldness as I've never seen balding like this?
