Bald Patch On Beard? Anyone Experienced This?

I'm not talking about a spot where your beard hasn't filled in.. but a bald spot that has developed where beard hair was.. It's not very big, but it worries me.

Anyone have any thoughts/experience on this?

Could be alopecia areata. Would have to post pictures though to see what you're talking about.
