Bald patch. Dangerous?

Hey guys,
around half year ago i noticed bald patch on my head. For past few months size of the patch got little bit bigger and in addition another patch came out. You can see the first one on the picture below. What do you think it can be? Sorry for my bad english and also for bad quality of pic.

Yes I do. In addition my scalp is itching pretty often even tho i wash it 3-4 times a week

I think if I only washed my hair 3 or 4 times a week I too would have itchy dandruff. Honestly, wash it daily for a month and see. Try Nizoral two times a week in addition.

Well some ppl say daily some say not too often. I was using nizoral in last few months for some time. Tho it helped little with dandruff the patch on my head stayed as it was:/ another thing is ( which might sound weird) that by watching World Cup for past few weeks I noticed many footballers with same bald patches on head ill try washing it dailyfrom now on.

I agree with frenchy it really Looks like it. If I remember correctly this had to do with the auto immune system.

Thats also my guess. First of all i have a lot of daily stress and as much as i know its the main factor of alopecia areata. Then in addition i have 3 spots in total and they are close to each other:/ but wouldnt it already take over half of my scalp for such a long time as it passed since i saw the first patch? Ive read its spreading pretty fast...
