There is nothing that can replace or compensate for a bald head. Nothing.
It doesn't matter if you're 9 feet tall, with biceps the size of watermelons....

If you look good bald, then you're lucky....but you'd look objectively better with a head full of hair.

I agree with you that people look better with their hair. Who is arguing? But baldness is not the end of life. You will still enjoy success with women. Yes maybe someone will not like you because you are bald. Some women don't like short guys, skinny guys, fat guys, guys muscles. You can not please everyone and should not. But hair is definitely not the most important thing in your appearance.

To all you phags with hair bashing bald/balding guys...

U mad I get hotter chicks with a receding hairline than you ever will? AND these were pics from when i was in denial and my hair looked god awful.

I have seen that you have still not amended your original post to publish the full results of the study you quoted, particularly attractiveness, the only trait that matters. I am still waiting.

How old are you and how do you wear your hair now as compared to the pics - buzzed? Still the same success with the ladies?
I'm 28 years old
Looking back, i don't know WTF i was doing. I should have given in and shaved it. Here's what it looks like now. My hair was about 2-3 weeks grown out from a 0 on the sides and 1 on the top. There are still no problems with girls. I do not even remember how many I had them. Maybe because I'm from Russia lol? Although I do not think that in the US there are any problems with this

Good for you that you moved past all of this. I feel like it's really been consuming my mind the last 2-3 years especially. I'll be 41 soon, but still very concerned about my appearance. I'm very self-conscious and vain (runs in my family) despite being in the 8 range (strictly on face I'm approaching a 9 - it's my 6-finger hairline that kills me). I just don't know if I'm ready to lose like 1.5-2.5 points on the looks scale. It's legit scary.

Baldness could have been evolved to force fertile women toward young men because with age men accumulate more mutation in their germline cells I.e sperm which could be detrimental to species at large. So baldness could be the nature way to favour young and remove old tards from making out and do the job of keeping.

And how do I manage to attract girls if I'm bald? My life is over. I have to stay at home and cry

And who said a mans life is over if they can't attract a girl? If your goal in life is to attract women, then you need to correct your priorities. And as I said, maybe they're doing charity work? Maybe you have a large knocker down there?

What about homosexuals? From what I have noticed, they avoid bald people with a 10 foot pole.

What an absolute absurd thing to say. You have first hand experience about the dating habits of gay folks?

f*****g idiot.

I do know the dating habits of gay people; they have set themselves high standards and they expect to reach those standards. Especially the younger generation of gays. You do not know how critical the gay community are, and they have higher than high expectations especially if you live in places such as California.

I am gay, and it is evident that this occurs. Especially the better looking gay people, they set themselves high standards and they expect to reach those standards even though it's pretty much unrealistic. (Am I saying all gay people? No)

It's all based on your perceptions... and when they are not based on any empirical data, it's meaningless.

I know bald, gay men in LA, San Francisco and San Diego, none have problems getting a date. I lived in Seattle for 18 years, shaved my head, had no problem EVER getting a date. But that doesn't mean it's not an issue for some.

I live in Tel Aviv, probably the gayest city on earth. a big mix of balding, shaved and guys with hair. Lots of guys work out, all ages... so lots of "guy bods", and the hair thing, NOT an issue (but maybe for some).

Maybe it's the crowd you mix in? But it's a bad bad thing to generalize like that. And, with all the body dysmorphia in the STR8 community, I bet statistics would prove that there is probably no difference.

Big planet. really silly to generalize.

It is ok to generalize if you clearly state that you are generalizing and that you accept that their are people that deviate from what ever you state. Especially if it can be measured.

When I visited LA, someone told me that appearance is the biggest aspect which dictates your life. I did state that it's mainly the younger generation (generation z) who have exceptionally high standards and would not date someone who is bald. And it pretty much is true. Realistically, I wouldn't expect a majority of people who are around the age of eighteen to date someone who is bald especially since they stick to their age category and it's uncommon for people to go bald at that age. Would I date someone who is bald? One-hundred percent yes. But that's because I can sympathise and relate to the issue, and have come to the realisation that I should like someone for their personality.

You're obviously a little older in the age category, which makes me assume that being bald or balding is much more common within that age category so from your perspective it's different. Unless, you have dated younger guys who are around my age...

I have to make something clear though, I'm 19 and I'm losing a lot of hair and I highly doubt any guy my age would date me. Especially since they can find someone else my age with a full head of hair.

It is true that looks is very important, especially at your age and importance generally has probably increased due to social media. However, appeareance has many aspects. Its the combo that matters. Height, body shape, facial features etc. Nevertheless when you are balding it is always a negative factor. Ok, probably not for Zidane.
But there is always a match. Probably another balding guy. But you have to lower your expectations as well.
If you are straight its similar. Of course you find a girl provided the sex ratio in the bar you always go or the town you live in are equal. Its not that you cant date a girl, its more that you cant date a girl that you want.
Obviously if you get older, other factors become important as well such as wealth, power, social status etc.
But you are right, balding people in general have a social disadvantage what translate subsequently into a finacial disadvantage...compared to non balding guys. But hey....life is not fair..its often cruel. The earlier it gets accepted the easier it is to cope with it.
You are still very young. With a bit of luck you will have a full head of hair in a few years. When I was your age...there was nothing.

NW6 at 20? WTF? Never seen that.

One of my best friends was NW6 at 19-20. He more or less lost everything within 2 years. He looks good bald though and he moved on with his life pretty easy. I'm admiring him a lot for that

How would I know? I've never been a woman a day in my life. I don't know wtf they want, I've been trying to figure that out since I was 12 and still don't have a clue.

Silly cope thread. For your own mental health you should embrace your flaws once you're too far gone and it's no longer salvageable. But get out of here with this bald is beautiful bullshit fam. If your face is perfectly proportioned and masculine you might pull it off but you'll still (almost) objectively lose attractiveness.

Also your lays look like low class slav club slags mate. Good luck getting prime young women with a norwood3+
