You should take your own advice.
You said that based on your ability to get elected editor in chief and land a good job, that there is no such thing as baldness discrimination.
If you had a logical brain, your would realize that this is absurd. Just because you were not discriminated against, does not mean discrimination does not exist.
I tried to show you this by suggesting that if a black man got elected to editor in cheif and got a great job, then by your absurd logic there would be no racial discrimination. In fact, all it means is that the people that elected him, and the people that hired him were not racist.
Just like all that your story proves is that the people who elected you and the group that hired you have no bald prejudice - not that this prejudice doesent exist.
You should have picked up on this, but your mind is not capable of processing intelligent thought well enough. Or maybe you just should have read it, counted to 10, then thought about the statement, then responded.
But instead you decided to argue - which should make you a very good lawyer indeed. You dont need to know what is correct, you just need to be able to argue one side or the other to the bitter end.
Actually, your statement clearly inferred I was black. But look: I did not and never meant to flame you, so I'll just apolgize for that right now.
Second, my logic made no claims of the sort you've suggested. I would not, and will not, be likening discrimination based on race to the so-called "discrimination against baldness" phenomenon. Please don't put words into my mouth.
I'm just that discrimination against
baldness is a ridiculous idea. I'm not saying
discrimination - like gender and racial bias - isn't real, but against baldness? It might help to be taller, more handsome, or have hair when trying to get a job, but ultimately just having that stuff won't land you a position in any field. sh*t, it could work against you. What if you're rail thin and being interviewed by a fat ***? And with the amount of men who
do lose hair being so high, I just can't see how you could possibly argue this position. There's a line between actual discrimination, and just being a snarky a**h**.
If you've got the skills, you make the cut. If you don't, you don't. No one is going to say: "okay, we've got two candidates. One's a Norwood 1, the other a Norwood 5. I say f*** the 5."
