Bald Babies

I noticed babies often have huge temples. This made me wonder, would the way our hair grows as babies tell anything about the type of hairloss we experience later in life?

I am actually sad enough to admit I've noticed this as well. I have actually seen a baby and thought: hmm, he looks about Norwood 2 or possibly Norwood 3.

It is strange why their hair grows out like this. I have no idea why it is.

Its logical actually. Imagine they had a full head of hair when they are inside their mama's, they would eventually shed some hair and leave a mess.

I've also noticed that hair seems to get thicker into adolescence/young adulthood, provided you don't have male pattern baldness. When I was a kid my hair was average, then in my early/mid teens it was super thick.

when i was a baby i had actually great hair, there this one pic at my grandmas where im like 3 and have a patrick bateman hair style, its awesome!

That's a baby. Yeah, I'm sure that kid will still have that hairline when he's 10 :shakehead: He's just one of those unfortunate people who are born with a NW4. Happens all the time!

His hair obviously hasn't completely grown in yet.
