Bad, Persistent Reaction to Topical spironolactone?

Has anyone here had a bad, persistent reaction to topical spironolactone? I recently bought some from here and used it for two days only. I applied it to my forehead and temples rather than the scalp, just as a test to see if it caused any skin irritation, etc.

Well, I've been having shortness of breath and a fast heart-rate for six days now. I keep having to heave for deep breaths, forcing myself to yawn, etc. After doing some research I found others who had pretty much the exact same symptoms, despite the fact that some people argue topical spironolactone can't cause such side effects.

I'm just a little surprised it's lasting this long, considering I only used it for two days, and only on a limited area of my body. Anyone have any advice for me, or gone through something similar? Very disheartening!

Wow that sounds rough. You should see a doctor if your not ok. I can't really give you any advice but I've been using the topical spironolactone for about 6 months now and no side effects.
