Baby Hairs: How Normal Are They Actually?

I think they're normal, if you're a perfect norwood 0-1 then its probably nothing to worry about. If your hairline is receding and you've still got a lot of baby hairs on your temples and hairline then it's probably a sign of miniaturization.

What’s the time frame until you can be 100% sure? Like how long does it take for them to fall out IF they are miniaturized?

I never had temple points, but my temples thinned about 30 years ago. My crown started thinning about 4-5 years ago. I'm 52 but my hairline is still a NW2. Getting some thickening now with minoxidil and rolling. It's looking like it's filling in.
Temples have new vellus as well. We'll see in about a year

I don't remember not having any baby hairs, they've always been a problem when I style my hair. I think I've still got the same amount of baby hairs on my hairline since I was a kid so I'm pretty sure mine isn't miniaturization. But it's probably different for everyone. If mine were to disappear (I'm only 18) would it be a mature hairline?
