I sitll maintain diffuse thinners have the least success with Minoxidil from my experience with various people on this board. But whatever.

So tell me, where does a diffuse apply his minoxidil?

Its not like he can apply it to a specific thinning area because diffuse thinners have an even distrubution of hairloss therefore it must be applied all over the scalp region. Anyone who has used minoxidil will know this could cause some serious heart pulpatations.

Anyway im not wasting my knowledge and experience in this thread any further, its a waste of time.

Rogain works best for diffuse thinning.,because there is something there for the drug to work with. This is often not so with receding typse

I apply all over and have no sides and am seeing results. Because i shave my head I really don't need to apply alot to cover the whole area which is good.

Don't get scared of the finasteride sides, they are well tolerated by the majority of people. I did experience some sides like fatigue after the first 3 weeks but my body adapted soon after.

Re: Hey everyone....1rst post w/pics

Thanks to everyone that has responded!!!! So just to clarify, Rogaine is good for diffuse thinners like myself. The sides finasteride causes are blown out of proportion (like I mentioned before, I fall into the average guy catagory most medicines were made for).

But I still have one more concern... finasteride changes hormone levels. I am still and athlete and afraid that it is going to deminish performance. Are there any lifters/runners out there that finasteride has affected, neg or pos?

Lol..is that the best response you've got to all this..then again it's understandable you don't have anything actually good to say, considering you just made a idiot out of yourself a few posts back but then you basically do that with the majority of your posts anyway..wait a minute,i thought you said you weren't going to make posts in this thread anymore?..oh well, good thing I don't take what you say seriously anyway..then again who does?

How about giving minoxidil 12.5% ago and also go with propecia at the same time. Unfortunately 12.5% is not available over the counter you will need to see a specialist. I believe that these mouses and hair laser combs you can buy are just marketing rubbish. Remember that the hair loss market is a big business now days. I have been through every option in my mind but i suggest you see someone for an expert opinion. 12.5% is good for the stubbon areas of your scalp mainly temples and crown.

Re: Hey everyone....1rst post w/pics

hey,

I agree with axl , I think it could work with thinning like you have, I am almost the exact same as you and I put rogaine all over my head. I just buzzed it down short and have no problem not using too much.
By the way I also have no sides from rogaine.

fun
