per Dr. Lee's website . . .

5% -- Minoxidil is dissolved into the solution at the highest possible concentration at 5% to maximize its stimulus to hair growth. Azelaic acid, also at a 5% concentration, will inhibit virtually all (>98%) the 5-alpha reductase in the areas of the scalp to which it is applied, preventing any local formation of DHT. Betamethasone valerate is a potent anti-inflammatory and counteracts any potential irritation to the scalp due to any of the components of the Xandrox base solution. The addition of betamethasone valerate is only available if specifically requested. Xandrox topical solutions are dispensed in 3 oz. Bottles containing at least 65mL of medication and are accompanied by a calibrated medicine dropper and/or a fine mist sprayer for ease of application.

15% -- The benefits of topical minoxidil for the treatment of male pattern baldness (male pattern baldness) are dose related and this is the first minoxidil
solution in which a concentration of minoxidil greater than 5% is contained in an alcohol base. To make a stable, high
concentration minoxidil solution required years of experimentation, research and development. The results have been rewarding.
Xandrox15 is a clear, light amber colored, very stable solution, containing 15% minoxidil and 5% azelaic acid with a proven
efficacy in the treatment of male pattern baldness. Each 125 mL bottle costs $88.00.
