Azelaic acid absorption

I quit finasteride due to side effects, and the sides did go away after quitting.
Now I'm using xandrox (=minoxidil+azelaic) and afraid of the sides coming back.

Can azelaic acid be systemically absorbed? If so, what are the possible sides effects of it?

I've major concerns abt sideeffects from the drugs..But minoxidil+azelaic seems to have no sexual side effects..Only side effects like flaking hear ratec hange etc..from Min..Thats what I found from my research..I am not on Xandrox yet..so its not first hand info..I'll be getting on it as soon as my shipment arrives..Keep us posted if u've already started..thanks

Well, yea, after two weeks of use of xandrox my heart started racing, I got low fever and terrible head aches. Never happened on upjohn's minoxidil (I think so, otherwise I would have noticed).
I would like to hear if you had the same.

Azelaic acid can't even get to the hair follicle so I don't see how it could be absorbed systemically.
