It's good news but Avodart scares me a bit. Correct me if I'm wrong, but dutasteride eliminates ALL DHT from the body, right? That's scary.

Doesn't it make you wonder why they would repeat a relatively small study that they've already done before? :)

This small korean study was posted here before ...and people assumed it was just part of a series of studies in different locations .
What makes you think the drug will get approved soon? I thought that Phase 3 trials last for several years , not just 6 months?

Makes you wonder why there's never been any mention of any of those other (alleged) studies.

Exactly! Phase 3 studies generally last for at a year or two, and involve a larger number of subjects than the (alleged) Korean trial. Something about that thing really stinks, for a number of reasons.

Can't wait to find out more! :)

I looked at the link provided and did not see any info when or if the results of the study would be elaborated. Did I miss reading something? Any one know?

6 months only? Maybe they canceled it? Personally I find the fact that they are still having studies long or short means that there was something worth checking out, even if repeatedly. The more you do the more certain you know.

I am not expecting a magic bullet though.
