At What Point Should You Stop Worrying About Potential Hair Loss?

I'm 23 and started worrying about potential hair loss about 2 years ago. Based on a couple visits to the dermatologist, looking at some old pictures from high school, and the opinions of people who see me every day, I don't seem to have any observable loss in density or hairline recession, or at the very least my hair is essentially unchanged from what I had when I was a teenager.

I don't think I'm going to post any photos for now just because it could make me second guess myself, and some people on this board seem to treat every sign of minor recession as the time to hop on propecia. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else here had any similar stories where they ended up worrying about hair loss for nothing.

Even I'm trying to find an answer to this.. I've been told by everyone that I'm fine but still can't get it out of my head.

How it impacts your life and future is how it looks between 23-36 years of age. The "sweet spot" for intersex relationships and career success. After 50, no one pays attention to old f****r's hair.

You guys' obsession and worry will run its course and you will get on with life. So, not much any advice here is going to help with anything except attract company for futile misery.

You’ll worry as long as you expect to remedy the thing. Shaving your head seems to be the apotheosis of acceptance when it comes down to it. There’s nothing wrong with holding out for potential treatments and staying in the know, but when it comes to dominate your life, your relationships, your pursuits, or your dreams, then something’s got to give sooner or later.
