I read a statistic that says hairloss isn't visisble until you've already lost 50% of your hair. Granted that statistic could be complete garbage. Either way it got me thinking; when did I start losing my hair?
I didn't notice my hair thinning until I was 18 years old and had grown my hair out over 6 inches long. The crown area became very noticeable that it had thinned and was thinning. My temporal hairline was also getting thinned and had started receding (partly due to the mature hairline people get at that age).
I remember getting sunburnt on the crown of my head at the age of 16. My Dad had told me that didn't happen to him until he started to go bald. Maybe I had already started losing my hair then?
I'm curious about when other people started noticing their hairloss, and when they think it might have actually started.
