Been on dutasteride for 20 months now and still receding at the hairline. As many know I'm thick everywhere else but the recession has been pretty continuous. Please don't compare my situation to yours. It's mine that affects me. Not trying to take away from your situations but I don't go into other people's threads with the mindset to compare. It's pointless and doesn't help the OP. I started out with rogaine for 6 months and it did wonders. But then, realizing that it wasn't the actual solution I jumped straight to dutasteride and have been receding and shedding and receding ever since. Here are the pics to finally prove it. First image was in December of last year (don't have pics from when I first started treatment unfortunately, but these pics prove what I've been suspecting) Second image is today. To those of you who say I'm thick that may be, but my recession is not stopping and for putting such a hard drug into my body I should have it gotten it to at least slow down to a crawl. And even if the difference is small the amount of time it took me to recede that much is still not a crawl. Either my recession is just too aggressive (dutas might be still be slowing it down a little) or I'm not a responder and rogaine is still helping to a degree? What do you think I should do at this point? If I haven't seen regrowth or stabilization at this point I don't see it happening in the future. I'm on nizoral and I derma roll too.
