Im just wondering if its normal for male pattern baldness to progress in this manner.
Behind my left temple, going and inch or 2 into my scalp there is an area of thinning. Sometimes it itches and sometimes it burns. The hair in this area has becomes more curly, dry and wirey. Some of the hair is very crinkly looking even though the hair shaft is still fairly thick. It feels rough sliding through my fingers.
Contrast this with my right temple and its a different world. My hair is thick, smooth and straight. It almost never itches and it never burns.
If i pull lightly at my right temple a few times i might pull out 1 hair. On the left it could be half a dozen.
My crown is solid as well, hard to pull out any hairs.
Yet my left temple is diffused and sore. Is this normal?
I never use shampoo but i tried it for a few days and it only aggrivated my scalp, so much that i took a pain killer to try and get rid of the burn in this area.
