Dirtrider....you're a good man. I appreciate your words of encouragement. I constantly find myself searching for new sprouts as well as looking at other guys monthly updates. The monthly updates do help. I saw that guy biscuit....sure he had over 4000 but for a larger area. his results were pretty darn good. At 2 months he looked barren like me so, I do have hope. I just need to stay busy and stop obsessing.

hey arnold, no problem. i totaly know what your going through because i was there. i guess i'm a good responder and have lots of growth in my 4th month but i went from all those new little stubbles to nothing and saying what the hell to WOW! is that stuff realy mine? LOL. i personally classify myself as thinning and not balding anymore. and like GILLENATOR and some of the other guys here that have been through this say, you gotta have patients and you won't see you full yeild until 14months. i know, it seems like forever but it starts to go by fast as soon as you put your hair out of your mind for a few. looking forward to seeing your progress.

ditto!

Hair grows in cycles and so does newly hair transplant'd hair. I was there too like my bro from the "right coast" Dirt rider! 8)

Question for those of you who may know or have went through this. I see fine wispy hairs that I believe are transplanted seedlings.....but there are also a few whisker-like stubble-like hairs popping out too. Are these stubbles most likely native hair coming back after they were shocked?

That's exactly right Arnold and that's how you can know what is natural hair coming back and the thin caliper transplanted ones newly emerging.

Let me explain something. Sometimes we lose hair shafts from grooming, shampooing, etc. But that does not necessarily imply the follicle supporting that lost hair went into telogen where the resting phase begins. Those hairs tend to continue to grow maintaining hair shaft diameter.

Either way, it's always GREAT to see new hair emerging above the scalpline! :hairy:
