Are united pharmacies really selling fakes?? evidence

Hi guys, just recieved an order from united, Finast, the packaging looks legit and the pill is white and says finasteride across, which is a bit questionable, anyone got the same/different?

The guy below seems to have caught the rat, pacific pharm is a reputable manufacturer, but hong kong up seem to be making their own, not so shocked as apparently they have dedicated factories for this kind of thing, these small scams soon add up to good money.

They are sending fakes.And I can prove it.
The Doxine they sent me are according the manufacturer Pacific Pharmaceuticals ONLY YELLOW COATED.But the pills united pharmacies sent are totally yellow, also inside.So this is the proof that they are ripping people off,sending fakes without no active substance inside.They make they own pills,thats why they do not have the leafled included.

I have no opinion on united pharmacies but I only use drugs from a local pharmacy and no way in hell I would take anything from China.

Finast is made in Dr. Reddy's laboratories, since last week I sent several emails to different departments to get opinions about fake drugs with Dr. Reddy's name on it. Yesterday I was able to call a guy incharge of the quality department just to know if it is possible to tell me if there is a visual diference between the real stuff and the fake ones and is told me "I have no comments on this situation"! That is very strange... :shakehead:

he probably has no idea what color real finasteride is.

His job is controlling the Finast pill made on is own production plant, how many pills goes through is hands a day??? He does not know the color, shape, size ,...

Yes, sounds strange indeed!!

I am not doubting inhouse it is united pharmacies in hong kong that seems to be selling the fakes.

I heard another instance yesterday of an asthma patient buying an inhalor from united, he had actually used the one from his local pharmacy before this but wanted them cheap.

He said the one from UP had no effect whatsoever, but as soon as he picked up his genuine local bought inhalor, his wheezing stopped. A little bit dangerous if you ask me.

Also with the drug zopiclone for insomnia, a forum member bought those from UP but they didnt have the metal after taste or the calming effect to send him to sleep, as soon he got the genuine ones he was off like a baby.

It just worries me what ingredients they use to clone them.

I think it is reasonable to suggest that UP are living uo to a kong based pharmaceuticals resellers reputation!!!!!

Just a caution to anyone wanting to buy from them.

I got second doubts about UP since last year they stopped shipping to a lot of countries due to customs problems and others like inhouse and elitenet didn't. :jackit:

i have access to a legit source that costs me about a quarter a pill. always send a sample out for chemical analysis. it may be expensive, but knowing they are legit is priceless and it beats paying over a dollar a pill at the pharma

The old UnitedPharmacies.com got replaced by a scam

As of 2014, the old UnitedPharmacies.com, based in Vanuatu, has been replaced by a scam in Hong Kong. I do not know exactly when the switch occurred, but the current scam feeds on the good reputation that the prior business had built, and scammers have some (but not most) of the records from the old pharmacy. The URL stayed the same, but the actual website changed, and the people seem totally different. They demand information that seems intended to enable ID theft, and they do not send legitimate products. "It's a trap."
