Are there men here that lost hair not because of male pattern baldness???

I am just wondering if there are men here that lost hair due to medical conditions instead of just genetics?

I lost tremendous amount of hair due to severe seb. dermatitis. My scalp was bloody and rot as lunar soil! And greats amounts of thick gray and red scales were coming out with hair attached. This was from 2001 to 2005 and short time in last two years. It was a nightmare.

Fortunately i'm better from last attack which was in the beginning of this year.

What did you do against it?

After several failed attempts with dermatologists the last gave me a shampoo based on cedar oil and a sulphur cream. Together with a diet without fatties, milk and shampooing everyday i became much better. But i had several attacks after that which i applied the same principals. THe recover is not immediate and take several weeks (more than 6) to remove the infection and 6 months to partially recover.

Now i shampoo everyday with B5 and zynch shampoo (plus the cedar oil and nizoral). Another mistake is to cut hair in those traditional barbershops. Now i prefer cut my hair in home and myself. It may be bad cut but at least i garantee higyene.
