Nizoral is giving me side effects, and I want to make sure it's the the keto and not some inactive ingredient giving me an allergic reaction.

What are the alternatives to Nizoral for keto?

Has anyone had side effects on nizoral and they went away on a different keto product?

Thanks.

Yes, there are other products with Ketoconazole in them and are much more friendly to the scalp.

There is Regenepure DR, and contains 1% Ketoconazole just like Nizoral. Regenepure DR has water and aloe vera gel as its two main base ingredients, which is soothing to the scalp. Nizoral has sodium laureth sulfate, which is a harsh cheap cleansing detergent and is also an inflammatory compound, so it's something you don't want to be putting on your scalp frequently.

There's also Lipogaine Big 3 Shampoo which also has Ketoconazole in it, which I've used before and is pretty good, though I personally prefer Regenepure DR. There is also another shampoo with Ketoconazole in it called Revita, I myself currently haven't tried it yet though I've read it's also a pretty neat shampoo.

All three products I suggested are free from sulfates.
