Why 17% of people don't respond to Propecia? Is there a reason for this? Are there certain factors? I am just hoping I am not one of the 17%, or else I am up crap creek.

I think hair loss is psychological as well as biological, and taking propecia helps my phycologically as well.

Well this 17% is a bit hit or miss tbh. It may be much lower or much higher. It's only an average. Averages can sometimes be misleading!

I don't know the exact science behind why it does not work for some but having a wild guess it could be that these people are producing much more DHT than Propeica can supress so that it has no effect what so ever.

How do you know if you produce much more DHT than normal. God knows. My hairloss has been very slow so I guess I am an average person so I hope this finasteride works otherwise I'll just shave the twat off and get on with living my life.
