Are some people more likely to experience side effects from finasteride than others?

Surely there has to be a way to tell who will get side effects from finasteride before they go on. If a person has extremely low body fat and always had low body fat, is he less likely to get side effects? Are there any blood tests that could give any clues?

I ask this because I might have to go on finasteride the future. I still have a full head of hair but there's balding in my family.

I also heard finasteride increases testosterone. Is it possible to see an increase in libido because of that? My libido is pretty low right now, but I have a very healthy lifestyle otherwise.
Thanks

No tests. Just try it, what do you have to lose? Side effects are temporary, baldness is permanent.
