Are Scalp Sensitivity And Increased Itching A Symptom Of male pattern baldness?

recently I ve been noticing it a lot and its making me sick. I can barely touch my head without a strand or two staying on my fingers. I m also noticing hair around the house + there is increased shedding when shampooing too.

I know daily hair loss is normal to some extent but I ve never noticed it before, so I m worried. I m 30 years old, do have some slow, gradual hairloss (maybe up to 1 cm on temples and some minor crown thinning), but its still unnoticeable visually. the problem is, if it keeps falling out at this rate, I have no doubt that density loss will creep up on me and once my scalp starts showing, it will be too late.

I d jump on proscar immediately since its covered by insurance where I live (europe), but I m not sure if my GP, dermatologist and urologist will want to give the prescription to me in this phase. I d gladly wait for a year or two to see what happens, but I might regret not starting earlier then. since the earlier you start, the better results you can experience, from what I gathered here

Hi can you Show me photos of your hairline

too lazy to take it and edit for uploading, to be honest. I ll probably make a thread with pics later

there is some mild recession (no more than an inch, probably 1-1.5 cm) at temples, with small hairs still popping up (its not completely bald).

I m hoping it will not progress much further since it started late (I d say it formed in the last 2-3 years) and there is no early balding in family history. paternal grandfather had practically 0 loss, father has some thinning at 56; maternal grandfather, though, ended up pretty bald in his 60s, thats worrying. but it was gradual and hit him hard only in his mid 40s, I think. I cant tell whose pattern I m following, seems like a mixture of all of them

my main question of this thread is in the title - is it a sign of increasing hairloss?
