Are religious preachers/ missionaries the biggest trolls?

First define troll: Someone who makes people think an unimportant topic is very important, and gets them all flustered about it so they waste their time and emotional energy on it for days, while the troll silently laughs. If the troll is really good, they study books on it and even pay the troll.

Now think what a religious preacher does, or what a missionary at your door is trying to do. Sound like trolling?
