This makes me think you are very very very slowly receding. Anyway this means nothing in you case, your hair seem healthy. The only one who will give you a correct answer is a good dermatologist with a videodermoscopy. So take an appointment to a good one and you will know. IMHO.

But has it gotten worse since December? I also forgot to mention that when I was about 12 my barber used to always ask me if 'he should cut the small hairs'

Listen to me buddy. You are obsessing. The pics seems different but the difference is so small that I can't really tell if you are balding, maturing or whatever. With this small changes or at this probably intial stage of hair loss OR maturing I can't tell anything. You seek certainties on an internet forum sending pics... that's not how male pattern baldness can be diagnosed, it's not obvius in your case. Do you want a correct answer? Logout from this forum and go to a good dermatologist specialized in hair, with a videodermoscopy he can see your density and if there are miniaturizing hair over the scalp.

Thanks for your opinion. I've been obsessing over this since late 2017. Hopefully it's all in my head. I've been buzzing my head every couple of months just to check. You're right, I've gotta stop obsessing over it.

Even if you're obsessing too much, i would not recommend finasteride or other AAs since you would land on PFS site after reading leaflet... You are scared to this level that i would not prescribe you any other things besides minoxidil and biotin...
Get bucket of cold water on your head and just stop making these paranoias and enjoy your life...

Just the one where you said it needs to be symmetrical. I've seen people who have norwood 0 temple points on one side and norwood 1 on the other and they don't seem to be receding.

A perfectly symmetrical hairline is a rarity. Majority of people have uneven hairlines.

This guy is showing ZERO signs of hairloss.
