Are Anti Oxidants worth taking?

Like Grape Seed Extract and Curcumin? Taking them at relatively high doses I mean.

Anti Oxidants help counter TGF-beta I think I remember reading.

maybe high doses is not too good. I take 1 gram total of all my anti-oxidants each day, and get the rest from fruits and veggies. Alpha lipoic acid is very good. Got to protect those mitochodria from damage. I take it 1 hour before workouts, with biotin.

I wouldnt count on stopping hairloss with antioxidants but they are good for you and might help a little.
Theres to many bald healthy people that take lots of antioxidants to say they can stop hairloss. male pattern baldness happens as you age because your hormones naturally change such as DHT levels rising. This change in my opinion is to strong to alter with anti oxidants or dietary changes alone unless you do something stupid like take 10000mg of saw palmetto or get castrated or something.

oral anti-oxidants will not affect your hair loss. If you were going to hit NW2 by age 60, taking anti-oxidants might have slowed you to NW1.5 by then if you took enough. But if you were going to hit NW3 by 30, you won't see a difference.

Just take them to protect your mitochondria and other parts of your body. Even those won't be saved, but you can help a bit.
