Applying Tricomin

I just bought some Tricomin.

The bottle says that I should spray it on after shampooing, on a daily basis.

The thing is, I only wash my hair every other day, and sometimes go 3 or 4 days without washing my hair. This is because I have long hair, so it's a hassle to wash it everyday.

So my question is, is it ok to just apply Tricomin before I go to bed, even if I haven't shampooed that day?

Also, how much should I apply - I heard 12 sprays/application - is that accurate?

Also, how long can I expect 1 bottle to last?

All advice appreciated.

I believe their intent is for the scalp to be clean. If you are applying it to your hairline u could just use some sylic acid wash in that area to help maximize absorbtion. If its your crown than im not sure. I dont think shampooing will make a huge differnce unless you have an oily flaky scalp that would inhibit absorbtion.

I want to know the same thing...
I got a bottle and I spray the whole head I am not sure how many sprays are these but...it will be finished fast it seems...
I also tried a dropper...but it doesnt seem to be as good as spraying because you can use it only on a small area....and you cant possibly cover the whole head with a dropper...any ideas???????

use strategy when u spray.

Part your hair, pull it back etc, to get it to the important area. Also use your fingers. Its spreads easier than minoxidil because its like water and doesnt stick the hair together.

So far i have used about maybe 1/10 of my bottle at two apps a day.

Usually i do six spray an app.

Within the present invention, it is generally preferred to administer the derivatives described herein intradermally in the center of the area to be treated, along with a suitable vehicle in a concentration of approximately 50 micrograms of derivative per 0.1 ml of vehicle. It is preferable to use a dosage of approximately 9 micrograms per cm.sup.2 of area to be treated, although dosages greater than 9 micrograms/cm.sup.2, up to approximately 40 micrograms/cm.sup.2, may be used. Suitable vehicles in this regard include saline. When used in the form of a cream or gel and applied topically, it is useful to add a suitable penetrating agent, such as DMSO, to the composition.
