Applying toppik

Hi guys tried to use some topic today to experiment. I applied the stuff, then some hair wax after that some hairspray as suggested on here but when I touched my hair my hand came out covered in soot! Any one got any suggestions?

hi there,

I've started using concealer again in small doses after a period of not at all. What I do is I put some concealer on then use a coat of maximum hold hair spray - wait about 5-10 mins and either add a touch up of nanogen if required, and then add a final spray of hairspray.
I still get the odd small bits coming out but it's a huge improvvement to when I first started using it and anytime I touched my head it'd come out.

You tried 2 coats of hairspray?

I get that too. I apply toppik, apply hair spray and use hands to pat down any stray hairs and adjust hairline. Get the brown soot on hands.

One good layer of hair spray and let dry. Nothing will come off once its dry.
