Applying Topicals On Long And/or Dense Hair

Any tips on how to apply topicals correctly when there is hair on the way? Feel like too much might be getting absorbed by the hair.

Everywhere, pharmacies, ebay, amazon... Go for 1ml one-way syringes (you can use 1 for several months) and blunt needles.
