applying gerenic minoxidil liquid

I find it tends to run off my head and down my forehead or down the back of my head down my neck. Am i applying it wrong it takes ages to dry in and most of it ends up all over my forehead.

apply drop by drop on certain areas and rub in.... then move to another area and repeat....
