Was wondering if anyone with hairloss similar to mine has had any success with halting hairloss/regrowing. Bear in mind I am only 21 so losing my hair at an early age, and hairloss seems to be speeding up.

I will be starting on proscar as soon as it gets delivered, as well as T-gel/nizoral and hopefully folligen cream.

I am thinking about using minoxidil although would rather not...if I do it won't be for a few months since I am a student and have already made myself broke spending money on hair stuff so far!!

dude, use minoxidil. it would be so easy to apply to your hair.

Im going to post a few of my own pics soon, so you'll be able to compare our situations. Although i didnt have temple recession, I was thinning at the crown like you are.

Propecia and minoxidil have helped me beyond my expectations. My hair has filled in a great deal and I am anxious to get the pictures up on this site. Just stick with it and if your a sensitve and great responder your hair can improve.

I thought of quitting the medications many times because of other peoples scare stories or just my own doubt of what could be possible.
Boy, am i ever glad that I stuck with it cause, although a shaved head is ok, having the choice for a different look, is the bomb. :hairy:

Your hair is not all that bad. you have temple recession but minoxidil would help. Check out martin's pics in the picture section and see what he was able to do. Looks similar to yours but worse. Grow your hair out on the top and keep it short on the sides.. that will help.

You could grow a mullet and then comb all the hair from the back, forward and then back again, like Donald Trump does.

I agree that you have potential to see some surprising positive results with the big 3. Hope it goes well. USE MINOXIDIL, there's really nothing to it!!!

I am sure there are some people that have had good results with hair like that. Matthew Mcconaughey had hair that was worse than that and his looks great now, whether that is due to treatments or a hair transplant is something that he will not be soon sharing
