Anyone Used Hairdirect's Coloring Shampoos?

Maybe just using those is enough to color the hairpiece or prevent fading? Using actual dye is very messy and requires time and skills -- I've not even done it myself ever. Using a coloring conditioner is quite comfortable, but it's still work and you can't get it on the lace, otherwise it colors it. But just shampooing is something you would do anyway.

I've bought them and am trying now. My hair color is medium brown, ashy. First tried the lighter one -- no effect. But I only shampoo once a week, so maybe the hair is too dirty to accept the color?

My experience with dyeing has led me to stay far away from it quite honestly. Colour fade is the sign of a dead system to me now.

My hair literally went green when it was exposed to too much sun, swimming pool and ocean water. To be fair, the system was 4 or 5 months old at the time.

However, I just used an off-the-shelf dye (L'Oreal) and left it on the hair for half the recommended time. Worked fine and got me another couple of months life from the system.
