I have been taking it only like 4 days and I think it's really making my skin look healthier already! Of course too soon to see what it's doing for hair, but this BioSil stuff sounds like the bomb! If you don't know you better ax' somebody!

Never had the chance to use it, but have heard good things about it.
Anxious to hear more about your ongoing experience.

What is it? Where do you get it? What prompted you to take it?

It's a bioavailable form of silicon. I saw Dr. Todorov did a write-up about it on http://www.smartskincare.com and thought it might be good for skin, but also good for hair too.

People use horsetail powder for hair, but this form of silicon (as choline stabilized orthosilic acid) is apparently much more absorbable when ingested.

I've been taking it off and (now back) on for a few years. I recently added Cysteine Peptide as well- also good for skin and imo hair.

BTW..Dr. Perricone also recomends Bio-Sil.

I just picked some up this week when I saw it at a Vitamin Shoppe.

I will report back in a few months if I remember to.

I know Jarrow makes it. Lots of new products with higher bioavailability are being marketed lately. But that stuff is WAY too expensive for me to try though. Also great for people who suffer from osteoporosis.

Swansonvitamins.com also has it in capsule form. If it's just as good..I don't know.
