In a mouse study published in the journal Nature, the researchers found that a major stress hormone causes hair follicle stem cells to stay in an extended resting phase, without regenerating the hair follicle and hair.

OTOH, common alopecia is a patterned hair loss ....

this isn't good news for me. I did already know stress was bad for hair and going to the cortisol pathway instead of testosterone.

I need to stress less but my life is not great so its hard.

Hey, you know what might work for stress? Biotin, lol.

I am on reddit and they all want to know if adding biotin to HRT will make it work better. And I am like, don't hate the messenger but:

Out of curiosity, why do you use both finasteride and dutasteride?
I desisted finally from finasteride but I put it on there because when I started on HairLossTalk.com, it was shortly in my past. I know people say that both are superfluous together but I can speculate as to ways that that might not be true. They were both covered by insurance, lol, so why not?
